Parents often reach out to eating disorder professionals with concerns about their child's eating that don't meet the criteria for a diagnosable eating disorder. However, we often hear from eating disorder professionals that they are not confident working with these children and/or their families. From picky eating to rapid or slow weight gain, food allergies, or GI issues, these concerns represent a powerful opportunity to work with families with an eye toward eating disorder prevention. By supporting parents, clinicians can help families build trust around food, reduce anxiety, and nurture long-term well-being.
Join Elizabeth Davenport, MPH, RD, LD, CEDS and Anna Lutz, MPH, RD, CEDS-C, for this focused, practical 2.5-hour live, interactive training.
